DO: OBJECT & THING, Founded by the former director of Frieze, Abby Bangser, the debut fair set in a brightly lit and industrial Brooklyn warehouse in Bushwick, NY. Check the fair dates before venturing.
EAT: SARANGHINA, A rustic Italian restaurant with a spacious backyard and an adjoining tapas bar/market stocked with fresh bread. Start with a plate of Frito Misto and charcuterie, concluding the meal with a wood oven prepped pizza.
EAT: INSA, A Korean restaurant in Gowanus offering specialties such as blood sausage to the more familiar Korean BBQ. What makes this place unique? The individual Karaoke rooms available for medium to large parties; make sure to book ahead.

DRINK: MARCOS, A well-maintained dive bar with a back patio that doesn't smell of vomit. This Bushwick hideaway attracts an eclectic bunch on the weekends and summers.
HAPPY HOUR: MAISON PREMIERE, This beautiful absinthe bar can get a little busy at times due to their Oyster Happy Hour ($1-$1.50 a pop) from Mon to Fri 4-7pm | Sat & Sun 11am – 1pm. Make sure to go early or the wait times can be out of control.
HAPPY HOUR: BUNTON'S WORLD FAMOUS, New bar by the J/M/Z Myrtle stop, great selection of beers and wine for a mere $5 until $8pm every day.
